Each year APW is fortunate to have an animation pro for our Character Design Contest special guest judge to carefully look at each of the character designs submitted by young aspiring designers and choose the winners. Our 2021 judge is Vancouver based animator, Lisa Wang.
An APW alum, Lisa graduated Sheridan College in 2012, and has since pursued a career in animation. She is currently based in Vancouver, and has worked in animated features, live action films, as well as video games. She also teaches Advanced Animation at Visual College of Art & Design.
